Brutal Fate

Demo or early access?
Question for the developer - what do you plan to show in the future (hopefully in the near future) - will it be a demo version of several levels or a full release into early access (as, for example, the Selaco developers did)?

For the demo, I want to include two levels set on Earth, showing Mars's attack with a cyborg force on a big Terran city which is the "call for adventure" for the protagonist.

On the release of Early Access I want to cover the entirety of the Martian War, it will be compromised of a whole episode, between 6 to 8 levels. The game is set in a hard-sci universe, which traveling from Earth to Mars takes months, so it will add realism to the wait in a roleplay form, like, while you wait for the game to lunch you are on the ship waiting to get there.

I want it to feel like a full game, or more precisely, like if you watched a full season of a tv show. Like, you know this doesn't ends here, its just the begging, but you already experienced the whole storytelling of a whole tale.

People would obviously want to see the demons that I already teased to death on the development diaries, but they only show up when Terrans invade Callisto in episode 2, so I will include a side mission playing as the Spacer mercenaries fighting these demons somewhere else.

As Early access progresses, I will release updates as new episodes, until the final episode with the full game.

Thanks for the detailed answer. I'm glad there will be a demo version, as it's very interesting to play your new project.
