No Jerkbait With #5 Hook Taylor's Tackle Expert Class

I'm on the gamepass version and doing the Taylor's Tackle Academy: Expert Class. I'm supposed to "Catch a Gold Rank Sauger" and "Equip the Jerkbait with Hook Size 5" problem is it didn't give me the jerkbait to complete the academy class. How do I progress from here? Has anyone else had the issue and did you solve it and if so how? Thanks
