Variations in fishes models/textures

Is there a plan for a future update adding more variety in models (different shapes) and textures (different colours and pattern) for each fish specie.
It's a bit annoying when all the fishes from the same species (exept the bosses) are all identical.
Dovetail with FSW and others does that very well, it feels like we never catch twice the same fish in these games (even RDR2 has 2 models for each fish specie!)
Maybe we don't need as much variety as they do, but at least 10 different textures for each specie of fish will be awesome

The developer said on Twitter that "we're currently working on fish variations across all species!".
Maybe some species will have variations on the Japanese map.
The Japanese map is coming soon. I'm looking forward to it.

The release date hasn't been announced so I don't know.
But in the past, it was released about three weeks after the advertising started, so I think it will probably be released around the end of this month. Sorry if my prediction is wrong.

That look mostly awesome. However some of them are a bit strange, like the golden trout that loose its orange line and dark spots on some variations. Also almost all of the old textures looked good and should have been kept in the game as one of the variation (Not complaining, just giving improvement ideas for future updates)

Why did the bass get changed in Golden Ridge. They now have reddish color to them! This is wrong, Bass are darker or lighter black not red or pink. This is why they are also called "black bass" in the USA.
Just because someone wants more color variations to some fish like rainbow trout, doesn't mean you got to change the colors to all the fish.
Please change back the bass, it was so perfect before!

i really like the colours so far from what i've seen , having every single fish the same was boring and made me not want to play, this new patch on the other hand has got me playing again.

it's not like the colours are silly and over the top is it.

It's way better to have variations. They should keep the originials as 'one of the variations', but having only one model is boring af. I think the small/largemouth bass looks pretty good, others (golden trout, burbot...) are a bit strange.
Some of them need updates (they updated the cuttroat already and it's way better) : golden trout with some variations missing the orange line or dark spots, yellow perch, kokanee : the silver variations are a bit strange (whey they have the spawning shape - humpack and jaw - they change from silver to red only). The brook trout looks awesome but it would be great if there was some duller versions and also for some salmon/trout (chum salmon, kokanee, dolly varden, arctic char) it would be great if there was 2 different shapes : one for males and one for females (all of them are males shapes at the moment)
