So many features that despite being a separate team, are indeed the same Company so the have access to the Tech that they have previously achieved and gained feedback on.
Not only that, but the amount of issue this Game still has honestly shows otherwise. Game was released in 2022 and there are still Missions that Bug out.
I'm a new player, and I encountered a hold on my Tutorial due to this. HUD constantly always bugs as well, car handling is absolutely terrible, everything mentioned above etc.
It just seems that they got the Game released, and now are just sitting back doing... something?
However, this is a mirror image on how this Development Company treats The Hunter CoTw as well, just a DLC farm, but at least they have over the several years pushed out some new features.
Players:
- The Angler last 30 days on-line players peaked at 447
- The Hunter last 30 day on-line players peaked at 25,235 .
Total Game Sales:
- The Angler 224k games sold.
- The Hunter 6.5 Million games sold.
So Which Game do you think the development company is going to spend resources on for development work?
For a smart Company, again, one that already have access to already existing resources for features, then both.
You are missing the actual point though, regardless of what the playerbase comparisons are to The Hunter which have been growing their Community since 2014, is that since 2022, this Game has barely moved in Development.
People who Fish, and people who hunt Game are 2 separate things, so leaving a featurless Game empty, will do nothing to grow it's profit margin.
This makes no sense, it's mean:
- Cyberpunk 2077
- No Man Sky
- The elder scrolls online
- Final Fantasy XIV
and so many others I think, falls super hard. and now?
This kind of comment simply means ‘devs, drop your games’.
They have NO competitor in immersive fishing in this genre, I've tested them all and it's very easy to say this is the only one that is open world, beautiful, simple for everyone, multiplayer cross-platform, fun.
What's more, they've already got all the mechanics to integrate them into their games, they know how to do it, and as a dev too, I can confirm that it's very easy to Except for one thing, the talent tree. that is kinda complicate to implement.
Everything else is a matter of a few days, without a big budget at all.
You could roll all your "suggestions" up in a neat positive way and post them over in them Suggestion Forum.
The person who said "its been a Clown Show" should really consider engage using that thing between his ears.
Thanks Max, I’m just blending in.
