Trouble with catching those last two gold rank Saugers
As the title said, I am done with almost all the missions in the vanilla map and there are only two ones left, where I have to catch gold rank Saugers.
I am catching EVERYTHING, but not even a bronze rank Sauger. Not even one.

The missions are "Ruby River Range Fishing Challenge Gold 2" and
"Ruby River Range Map Challenge 3".
Although the ingame manual does not state the Sauger to be active at night, my researches have shown that most players who hunt them, try so at night. So I tried that, as well (without success).
I am using the following equipment:
"Eisvogel" rod + "Rüttelflug" reel + Fluorocarbon 10kg strength line + glowing float + "5" hook + minnow/leeches/redworm
I have tried out lure spinning rig, too, but since this needs more active work, I have stopped to do so, since it did not work, as well.

Any advices?

Sauger is stated as a night-time fish. To improve your chances use a #6 hook, then silvers will also bite.
You did nothing wrong. I remember it took me also a couple of hours to catch a gold sauger. It was one of the last challenges i did in Golden Ridge to complete all.

Okay, I have finished the missions. At least I have catched a diamond yellow perch, trying so.
Aside from tons of other fishes...

I guess the 6 hook worked. And you were right about the Sauger being nighttime active. My mistake.
