the fishing lines become looser auto..

When fishing, after casting, the length of the fishing line in the bottom right corner doesn't change, but the fishing line becomes looser and looser. Even if I reel in to tighten it, it will start to loosen again.

I noticed this as well, especially with bottom rods......can't keep the line tight.

Another strange thing.........when a fish is pulling out line, the reel should backspin proportionally to the line being taken out. Currently, the reel barely rotates when line is being pulled on by fish. Overall this is a beautiful game, but some serious thought has to be put into the rod, reel, line and lure mechanics/physics. Maybe in a few years this game will be where it needs to be.

Right, I had the exact same thought as you. There's still a lot of room to optimize the details of this game regarding the fishing part, and I hope the makers will take a look at other great fishing games nowadays.

THE GAME IS TOO BUGGED I paid for the game and all the DLC and I can't play. The work was done quickly and poorly. And the Devs ignore my messages.

What I thought. But I don't have access to the game's fonts.
But why doesn't he fix it? I tried everything, checked the files, uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Nothing worked.
If at least he responded to me by telling me that they will repair it, that would reassure me, but NOTHING is total silence.

I have the latest version of my Windows 11 system and I update often.

I've also experienced fishing line becoming looser. I've been assuming it's a side effect of the new float "drifting" behavior that was recently added. Is that not the case?

Could be......But, when I'm standing on shore and the water current is moving away from me and my line becomes looser on a bottom rig, something must be off.

After driving a boat and equiping a rod I have 100+ feet of line out behind me.

Edit: May be connected to opening the bail.

My bail was closed everytime this happens.......I have to reel in every few seconds to keep the line tight on bottom rods. Float rods do the same thing, I have to reel in the slack every few seconds.......even with the current moving away from me.
