Mission "Catch fish with a size 10 hook" - bugged or my fault?

Hi there,

i got the game on epic and i'm struggling with the pretty early mission from the mission board, where you have to assemble a new rod, go to the bridge and catch a fish with the size 10 hook

Mission is "Taylors Tackle Academy: Beginner Class 2 -> Learn about hook sizes -> Catch a fish with a size 10 hook on a float fishing rig" .

What i've tried so far:

- drove to the middle of the bridge marked on the hud and throw while standing at the bridge, i've tried in several directions from up there

- took a boat a tried it from under that marked bridge

- tried from several spots at the lake from the boat

- tried from the shores at several places around the lake

Still no luck so far. Not one single fish, when using the proper rod with the size 10 hook.

What can i try, to get that freakin fish please?

Where or what exactly is that "float fishing rig"? Sorry, english is not my native language (i'm german), possibly i just misunderstand what i have to do or where i have to do it.

What bait are you using? Only worm should catch you just about anything, especially bloodworm.

Actually i use the bloodworm. I've tried also the minnie, but still no luck.

Fish from any jetty casting your float near any stick up posts with bloodworm at 2' deep.

Still no luck on this mission.
Do I have to catch the fish on the marked location?

I tried from a boat under the bridge (marked point) but no fish activity there.
No jetty here as well...

Eventually caught a fish on a size 10 hook on a jetty near basecamp.

In my case i finally had success at the jetty near the camp. I had the bloodworm as bait, hook at 2' (0,6m) and just throwing short (right click on PC).
