Yes I know it's a long way to get good equipment, in the meantime I'm going to fish for small fish (tench, trout etc etc etc), I don't want to have the line taken down with each big carp.
I don't understand why the Devs have pushed the bar so high, already the price of the big reel 45,000 euros is way above reasonable, in addition you have to provide 30 golds, 4 diamonds and legendary ones which are not yet on the map . . . . . . enough to discourage many players.
Adjust your drag and the angle/lift of your rod so you are putting as much drag onto the fish at all times without getting into the bright red that will break your line if in it too long.
Constantly pumping the rod as the fish runs...useless. If your drag is low enough you can pump the rod without getting into the bright red then your drag is too low to start with.
hook size 1 or 2/0
I'm currently at level 69. I do daily and weekly quests and try to catch big fish. I played this game for a decent 100 to 150 hours. The rest of the time I tried to understand the game or I left the game open and watched TV series in the background and did not play the game.
