Catch a Bronze Rank Golden Trout

Hey, the mission "Emerald Plateau Fishing Challenge Bronze 2 - Catch a Bronze rank Golden Trout" seems to be buggy. Can´t even catch a Golden Trout.. Tried for hours, but nothing there. hook sizes from 8 to 5. (EPG - played more than 100h).

I'm almost convinced they made the challenge spots "harder" by reducing the spawns. I think when I did this one I got lucky with a spoon.

I am having the same issue. Spent hours working on this challenge over the last couple days and nothing.

Can you believe it. I just went on there and second catch I got one using a Spinner size 9.

thx sir. just did the same with 9 Spinner.. unbelievable, 3rd attempt and bronze Golden Trout was catched. Previously I was trying all lures and baits from hook 8 higher. sorry for the "buggy" mystification, my fold I did not try lower hook lvl :)

Yea I’m starting to get really annoyed. This is so dumb, I’ve caught so many golden trout in several places, yet I have to do it at this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that obviously doesn’t have golden trout. I’ve tried everything, I’ve caught about 90 rainbow trout and ohrid trout. They need to up the spawns, I’ve spent about 9 total hours in game trying to do this now and nothing works. Game is about to be uninstalled soon.

Thank you for the tip on the #9 size lure. I had spent about 3+ hours on this quest over two sessions trying #8 marshmallow, cheese, and spinner lol! Switched to the #9 spinner and got it after about 12 casts. Plus, this entire time I caught a fish on most casts. For those having trouble (in case you don't already know) it's important to be using a bait type that works, hook size, and to cast your lure at different depths and directions a lot like you would in irl fishing. Hope that helps. It's not bugged, this one is just hard. Others take like 2 minutes lol. I'm glad there's some challenge. Fishing does require patience and perseverance, but it's worth it!

I still haven't caught one using a #9 Spinner and have been trying for three days, however I did catch a Gold Cutthroat. Not Golden Trout here.

It is very sad to read such comments for someone who recently started playing THIS is a misunderstanding. It became clear that I’m not a fool, forcing myself to catch this or that fish of the rank I need and, having experience in fishing in life and in all games about fishing, I conclude that the game is completely not ready yet, this game will soon be 2 years old and in the common sense of targeting a particular level of fish, you can go crazy with how it is implemented disgustingly incorrectly. What does it cost to catch the same Diamond level fish, it’s all disgusting.

the common problem is that people are using to big of a hook and so get zero bites, a bronze is a small fish use a small hook.
