Fisherman I call for your help (rainbow trout)

I've been trying to catch a diamond rainbow trout for the Emerald Lake Fishing Challenge 3 for 3 days non stop but I can't do it !

I tried everything : snipper 1/0, snipperbait 1/0, spoon 1/0, even baits (leeches and minnow) with 1/0 hook but no fish is biting...
I must admit that I have tried everything.

What was your stuff to succeed in catching this big fish ?

Not sure but i think i caught it on a No 6 spoon or maybe No 5.

Try the float, hook 6 and minnow with 90 cm depth in the dams

Excuse me, I was wrong, I meant the CASCADES and not the dams.

Ahah don't worry, I was thinking of fishing in the small pond that is indicated in the quest.

Does it mean that I don't have to fish in this little pond? And that anywhere if I have a rainbow trout it counts?

Just did that quest again , No 6 spoon , Nebuchadnezzar reel , Gilgamesh rod , lake Beryl as indicated . Probably a bit heavy but it worked. Ten or so gold then the Diamond .

Well, I caught at least 15 gold rainbow trout but no diamond yet :'( After all with the trout I gained a lot of level and money !
but of course I don't despair
