Cross Play Compatible???

Is this going to be compatible with cross play? I dont want to have to jump between consoles to play with my mates on this game. Kinda defeats the purpose of buying into a PC when most if not all new games coming out arent cross play.

I know there will be cross-play between different store-fronts on PC like Epic Game Store
Steam, Windows store and so on.. Although no Idea on console cross-play at the moment. There was an interview not to long ago where they talked about it some. I'll look for it and find the timestamp.

Also You can check SteamDB In the Depots Branches section, there is a build where they are testing Cross-play

I am guessing that once they release the Console versions (Which will be sometime after the PC launch as its not launching simultaneously) There will be Cross-play between PC and Consoles.
