if you look at feet you gain per on speed 2 count 2 -3 sec not a bad speed . haven't got any fish on speed 3 yet.not sure what to make of it. how fast before you cant catch a fish - 3?

Reel speed 3 is not for constant reeling. It's for things like stop and go, or twitching, which slows down the reeling. Constant is 1x only really.

Yes, but not on a constant reel.

My experience on this: Reel 1x is way too fast for "Toggle reeling" Mode. I cant catch any fish with that. ( try 15 / success 0 )
On the other hand with the exact same setup, same location when fishing in "Hold reeling" mode, reeling with approx 0.4 - 0.5x speed, my catch ratio is ( 15 / 12) .... however it causes RSI very easily.

i use spinners only on 3x speed...i will slow it to 2x or 1x once i see a fish is chasing my lure
