Lines vs Reels

I got the 5.0kg line because i would like more line strength when fishing but I can't find a reel to use with it. from the specs of .30mm diameter it looked like it would fit the "scope" reel but i cant equip it. There should be a menu for what is compatible with what gear because this is pretty annoying or I may just be looking at the wrong aspect of the reel for the line.

From what i have seen in streams the rod and reel both have to be able to equip the line, the rod shows a max line strength and the reels have a max strength and diameter

ugh this game is annoying

I need 2 dollars to buy line and now the game won't let me cast. what the actual///////////

Rod full, reel half that of the rod, line half that of the reel. (yuck!!)
It is a mess and need fixing. They should be near full weight for each or near to it..

Rod's max line strength
Reel's max drag
Line's break strength
