I feel sorry for this game. IGN usually rates things with a double barrel shotgun and not afraid showing there criticism towards game..

Shacknews is pretty tough and gave it a 7. Only other scored review is 88. I think people are going to be surprised if they expect really low review scores. People who aren't hardcore into fishing games generally like playing it.

The only people complaining are people who wanted a hardcore fishing simulation and disapointed themselves, reveiw outlets score a game based on what it is and not what it isn't.

I think people are mostly disappointed it's not the game they originally pitched.

Reviewers have to play a lot of games and chances are they weren't focused on any pr on this one months ago

Right I seen games that looks so amazing and stuff that they turn around and give it a bad score.. like why. They will give no offense.. not completely calling this game garbage.. but they will give a garbage game high score where another game that looks really good and could be best game of the year. they will give it a bad score..
