What do you mean? You get coins for catches too, not just when leveling up?
So far I found you get coins for:
- Catching fish (sometimes? What is the relation here?)
- Leveling up
- Some missions
- Discovering things
Just cought a silver Lake trout (first one ever) and got 0 credits, bit strange.
Then you might also get paid for individual missions But I dont know it may just be those missions gave you enough XP to hit a check point.
TBH I am not 100% sure because it all seems random af some times.
I've just tested this and it seems like you might be right. Bit odd, would think catching things would directly give credits based on the quality of the catch etc instead.
Too much challenge !
There is no max level.
For each quarter of a level you get coins.
So coins at 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%, that's why you can get a gold and get zero money and the next fish might only be a bronze, but it takes you above the xp that you need to get coins awarded.
Also, you get more coins for the final 25% (in my experience anyway).
Would have been good if they could have explained this to start with....
