Laser Lair: How to do Exploding Cats fox hunt after doing the regular one?

As the title says. I must really be missing something since I've not found anyone asking about this on this forum. Someone did ask on a YouTube video and then added that they had to bring a different putter into the game to get the E.K. foxhunt to reappear? But that didn't work for me.

On the first whole there are two different starting clues and when you start one the other one is gone until you finish. There is a memory chip to start one

I finished the main foxhunt (the one on the left). It's still there, but Exploding Kitty is not.

Just restart the course from the main menu. Both should be back.

From the main menu, I select Play Course (or whatever the exact wording is) for the hard mode and begin a round. The EK foxhunt is not there. I don't know if that's what you mean by restarting it?

You grab something. And then you have a choice between two things. Which one you pick starts either the normal fox hunt. Or the exploding kittens one. It just sounds like you didn't read the first step or have forgotten it, and now aren't even trying to see what happens.

I didn't think I had ever started the Exploding Kittens ones, so I checked to to make sure. I'm not on any foxhunt challenge at all. When I originally played the course I did the normal foxhunt, then closed the game. I came back about a week later and no longer saw the E.K. one, so I assumed it was for a limited time and I missed it. Then my wife got around to playing the course and the E.K. was there for her. She did that one and now it only shows the normal one on her profile as well.

Okay.. I figured it out.

My idea was to do the regular fox hunt again and then maybe it would re-enable the E.K. one. This made me realize that the two different items don't appear until after you click on the brochure. I thought that the brochure was the normal fox hunt and the E.K. was not appearing, but the selecting the brochure makes the two fox hunts appear.

Which you already knew given that you did the first one. And that all of us have told you. You didn't figure anything out.

Which you already knew given that you did the first one. And that all of us have told you. You didn't figure anything out.

I didn't already "know" it, because it had been long enough that I had forgotten how that worked. I thought both items were available to select from the start, which is what confused me.

I don't understand the attitude. How about "Glad you got it figured out"?
