Local multiplayer

I've seen more than a few people asking for this, so how soon can you guys get this feature in the game? I bought this thinking it already had local multiplayer. We don't want to play through the ENTIRE course one at a time, so we more than likely won't be playing it at all until this mode is an option. Thanks for your time.
