Walkabout Mini Golf

They need a season pass for the extra courses.
I saw all the DLC and no matter how good the game is I won't buy it the way they price the DLC right now. If they had like a season pass for all new courses I'd be interested.

EACH DLC gets you a new putter and 18 uniquely decorated balls for use into perpetuity. For under $4 each it is a great bargain and the detail and reliability put into each DLC is well worth it. There are NO VR minigolf games playable with multiplayers via the web that are anywhere close to it. They are very reasonably priced and the authors are worth their compensation.
I splurged and got it for me and my three friends. We all play off of mine and they are buying their favorites as we play through for the Foxhunts and balls. I think it was well worth the money spent as it's giving us hours and hours for the price.

Normally I would agree, but I can count on one hand how many good VR games are constantly updated with new content. I'm happy to pay $3 or $4 every so often for quality.
For $3.99 (price on release discount; older courses may still be $2.99) you get unlimited play on 2 new courses (and maybe storeroom challenges, too) that potentially defy the laws of physics, 18 new balls, and a new putter. That's about 1/4 of the price to go play a single round on the same weathered, shoddy greens, wet (because rainy region), physical course that hasn't changed since I first played 30 years ago, and with a putter and ball that both look like they were accidentally left in the sink when someone turned the garbage disposal on.

Walkabout is the only game in my library where I buy the DLC as soon as it's released because I know the quality is gonna be there, even if the course is a theme I don't necessarily care for.

There are bundle sales now and again that can save you a bunch of money, but the longer you wait, the more courses are going to be released, and the larger (and more expensive) those bundles will become. There *may* be smaller bundles available at some point (evil lair courses, Jules Verne courses, etc.), but you'd have to ask Mighty Coconut about that. I'm just a fan.

Also, if you get the base game, you can play multiplayer on ANY course the host has (but you can't save balls or putters). Find some friends who are looking for a regular game and divide the courses between you.

Season Pass?!? eh no thanks! Season pass puts all the risk on the consumer in hopes that the DLC content is good. And usually is not....look at multiple games with season pass options. You will see terrible reviews of some of the DLC's. Can't get a refund tho, but the Dev still gets paid. It creates Less motivation for quality products from the DEVs when they get paid upfront. Walkabout is doing it right. I would MUCH rather pay for what I want in a DLC. Also, their DLC's are not expensive....Go mow your neighbors yard for 50 bucks dude.

It might seem like a lot up-front, but maybe play through all the courses that come with the game, and then if you still want more, check out some of the DLC courses. For the people who have supported the game from Day 1, a few bucks every few months feels like a steal. I never thought we would get so many courses, and I always buy them the day they release.

You won't buy 2, 18 hole courses designed by a literal disney imagineers, with more time and labor put into then real golf courses, for LESS than the price of A SINGLE ROUND OF REAL MINIGOLF?

You sir, are a greedy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. No other way to put it.

For someone who named themselves "Rich" but can't spare $3 for a dlc package... Well, you don't seem to be very rich now, do you?
