How to switch hands?

Trying to switch to left-handed using my Samsung Odyssey. Can't seem to do it for the life of me, tried picking up and putting down all the controllers, turning off the right one, but I never seem to hold the club in my left hand. Any ideas?

It should respond when you push a button on the controller you want to use.

Yeah. Start with your dominant hand to navigate the menu, which should register your preferred hand.

It seems the only way I can get the left hand to register is to start the game with the right controller powered off. Then it correctly uses the left hand. Interestingly it seems I have to start SteamVR with the right controller off. If I start the game from a fresh reboot with only the left controller, left works fine. If I turn on the right controller, it grabs control and won't let go (turning off the controller uses the headset for pointing, no matter how much clicking I do on the left). Exiting the game to Steam VR Home and then starting it up again still keeps control on the missing right controller.

I am using a Rift S, I also cannot get it to use the left controller. no combination of button pushes allows me to switch. I have not tried powering off the right controller, will try tonight, thanks Haxim.

Any chance of a fix @Devs?

Hey Cres!

Upon starting the game try using the left controller, usually this would automatically activate as your dominant hand.
