Characters in the North

I feel like I've looked everywhere, but I've only found a few of my old companions. Any tips for finding more people?

What point do you start being able to recruit your old party members again?

So far I've only briefly encountered the dude in purple 'Swiftlegs' whose wife told him to go out and make a name for himself, he was defending a kid at a Northern gate from a gang of warriors and they escaped when I stepped in.

I found a few in the towns in the north before I encountered that scene, I just walked up and talked to them.

Most of my experience is on the Street Hero route, as the Feather Robe route pretty much gave you no party members and the devs seem to be adding more to that route slowly.

Some southern party members are new story sequences in the north, like Swiftlegs and Heng Moyan, some return to their original locations like Sword Servant Summer and Mega Boa.
Swiftlegs and the kid he saves can be recruited once you visit the Langhuan Pavilion (the place your Ragged Brother asks you to go).
Moyan can be recruited again once you go back to Mt.Heng and help them.

A lot of old party members will go off and join a sect/group that you will have to join in order to recruit them again. The girl from Yuelu Pavilion joins the Little East group, and you have to join them to get her again.
The 3 people who pretended to be Wang Hafeng's disciples becomes his actual disciples and you can join them too.
Mt. Heng can be joined and all 5 people can be recruited. and so on.

Your dog Goldie can be found in Flora Valley but you have to fight the 2 wanted people to get him back (Talk to him 3 times then fight)

Black Impermanence can be found at Sandouping Waterway.
Li Dahu can be found at Nunnery (delivering the thing to Lin Ying), can be recruited at Qu vilalge.
Duan Tianyi can be found at Yanjing
Dawg Bao can be found at Bianlang
Shi Yanzhang can be found at Bianlang
Ke Chanshan can be found at Music Pavilion
Mu Wanfeng can be found at Music Pavilion (after a battle with the Dame of course. She won't let her disciple go with you without a fight)
If you recruited Purplehead, Northern Beggar, and Mob boss of the West, I believe they can be found at Wulu Palace (you have to join them of course).

Wait, you said that Summer will return to her original location. But where is it? In the port or in the catacomb? If she returned to the catacomb how can we recruit her again?

To get back to the catacombs go to the boats on the right side of the lake, there should be a text bubble there that lets you go back.

Thanks. Btw, I wonder, how do we join a sect? I have reach the time where I separated with my companions. But I still confused on how can I join the sects in the game. Specially when I don't know all of them to make a choice.

1. I know Heng Shan, but I don't know how.
2. I know about Deercave, but I don't know how.
3. I know I can join Beggar, but I don't know how.
4. What about Shaolin, and how?
5. Then what about the other sects? Are there another sect that I can join beside those four?
