Is this worth buying?

I love Muv-Luv, but the reviews on the mobile design of this game are concerning. That and the apparent shortness of each story compared to the $15-25 per story.

But I can still see buying it if the story is anything near as good as Alternative. For those that have already played it, is it worth it?

Kind of hard to say, if you really loved coup d'etat from Alternative, I would say you would also enjoy TDA as it puts more focus on political aspect and human relationship in the world.
Visually it is a definite step-up from alternative: characters are more animated, tsfs flying around more smoothly. It looks very good. Character writing is the same Age thing.

But yeah, UI is pretty rough, and functions a little bit clunky, and makes you feel like you are reading it on a tablet. Has good features like fitting image resolution to screen resolution so you can read it without black bars on the sides, but the rest is mediocre.

Well, unless you are 100% sure you are ready to spend that much money on it then I would suggest waiting for a while and deciding later, no need to hurry.

if the pick up rate(profit) is not high enough....we probably won't see Schwarzesmarken or Project MIKHAIL in english.

Mikhail is certainly going to be in English regardless, but things like Total Eclipse and Schwarzesmarken may be up in the air depending on the sales of TDA and KimiNozo. It is a shame TDA was the test dummy for this engine and also the price being something that may scare off some people from casual fans to newcomers.

Wouldn't a surprise if their newest games has bad sales considering this bad port and the censorship with no restoration patch... KimiNozo will be bombed as well for the upcoming censorship and the lacks of patch.

what censorship I play TDA 00 in japanese back then n there's only 1 risque shot, in general TDA have no sex scene

I had to remove this from my wishlist after I learned it supports windows 10 only. That's unfortunate.
