18+ patch on release?

There probably will be. There have been since Vol. 2. The DLCs weren't on Steam at the time, since adult-only content wasn't allowed. But they were available from other places, like Denpasoft, and now dlsite. In case Steam bans the DLC for this, we can still get it from those other places. (Even in the worst case—that they ban this completely—we can get the full VN with 18+ content from one of those places.)

Don't know why they would ban it . They have full on games , uncensored up here . I just played a demo , where you "train" a female knight . Lots of stabbing . No sword or knife needed ....

That wouldn't be a uncensor patch that would be adding new content since it was never a 18+ game to begin with.

There are WESTERN games on here with all kinds of degenerate themes, whereas nekopara is a truly moral representation of pet/owner dynamics.
Steam has already banned the sale of the 18+ DLC for Nekopara, but before anyone panics you just have to buy the patch by itself and apply it to the steam version.

A bunch of countries are not banning AO content on steam, they had already banned it and steam is violating international law by allowing them for sale and is merely complying with the law by now removing them.

No. Many R18 patches are banned in Germany because The group "Medienanstalt Hamburg/Schleswig-Holstein" complained that its accessable in Germany without proper age verification. the patches themself arent illegal just the way you buy them as of now

I guess you're correct in a sense. It says it's banned in Germany (not a surprise, BTW; this has happened to many other games/DLCs, and it's been known for a few months now that German Steam users are in this unhappy situation). But that's one country. You make it sound like it's totally banned. I don't think I'd call that a ban in general, unless there's something else I'm missing. Maybe I am. Someone else said something along these lines. I was going to inquire, but the topic got closed before I could.

Steam's official stance on child pornography is "It's ok as long as the external download link is provided in our discussion forums we host, for the game clearly intended and sold as child pornography, as long as we don't provide the download through our servers."
What this means is individual countries have already banned child pornography, and are left to interpret whether or not Nekopara is pornography depicting minors or uh, cat girls. lmao

Game has been banned, adjusted and since then is back in the store. Nekopara does not fall under such category and isnt banned in *any* country but Germany or had Legal issues in the past. What youre saying is based on what you think i imagine and thats cool, but saying "Steam has already banned the sale of the 18+ DLC for Nekopara" based on apperantly no knowledge? mh idk man
