Gamepad support?
Can this be played with a gamepad, or is it mouse/keyboard only?

Honestly I am a huge fan of controller gaming and prefer to play almost everything with a gamepad, this game however is so much better with a mouse. The Xbox One version feels slow and complicated. The gameplay is essentially point and click and it is much more intuitive with a mouse.

Its actually hard to admit but on this occasion the K&M crowd have it right.

Not when I'm sitting on a couch with a laptop and very limited room for a mouse. K&M may well be better, but choice is always best. Sometimes a gamepad is just more convenient, best option or not.

Thanks, I hadn't opened the "Read More" part of the description to see that note. I appreciate the heads up. Very disappointed in the developers decision, considering they already built it into the game for consoles.

If a version of the game exists with gamepad support, what kind of lazy Klei-tastic BS is not updating the PC build with the option for players who prefer that option?

Присоединяюсь к теме. Нужна поддержка геймпадов XBox360 и F-310.

Nailed it.

Yeah - I've tried using a mouse + keyboard on the couch, and it's just not the same as at a desk, no matter how I try to improve the ergonomics.

K&M is a superior control scheme for many high-precision games if you're sitting at a desk, but not on a couch.

Kind of need game pad support for Steam Deck. Ironically though, it plays better on Steam Deck (thanks to it's default bindings of WASD to stick) than it does on my computer. I play with Arrow Keys or game pads, not WASD (I mouse left). So any game with non-re-bindable controls is a non-starter for me. Thankfully, it plays well on the Deck, or I'd probably refund it.

It's so silly to exclude the joypad controls from the PC version... Maybe devs aren't aware, but there is a perfectly emulatable Switch version and those who want to play it with a pad will just d/l it for free instead (and that's a shame, because it's a good game and has a good price in Steam).
Reminds me of a PC port of Capcom's "Age of Booty" from Xbox 360, it was a great little pad-controllable game, but that was excluded from the PC port leaving mouse controls only, as a result, it got mostly negative feedback and was removed from the shop.
