Yep, good question and I would check these settings too. Players often use port blocking and forget to disable it to go online. I would also make sure the internet is working...it's obvious but sometimes overlooked 😊
RDR2 comes with both single player and online modes, so buying RDO standalone isn't needed to go online.
Red Dead Redemption 2 comes with the online part as part of the package at a more expensive price -- 60 USD. Red Dead Online is cheaper at $20 but doesn't come with Story Mode, which the user needs to buy separately if they want.
So, RDO + Story Mode = Red Dead Redemption 2.
