Merchant role low pay

I´ve seem to recall the merchant role payed more than just 78$ on a full small wagon at a long range delivery. Did it got nerfed? why am i getting payed two figures for an insufferable grind such as the merchant? Am i missing something?

The last time you played the Merchant Role there may have been a special event going on where that role was paying double.

It wouldn't have gotten nerfed because this game hasn't received a meaningful update since August 2021. @_@

Naw so they had the roles thing going for awhile so you could get double xp and double money. I don't think they stopped it until they updated with more blood money contracts and some new side missions.
