Yes they really should do that so people have a chance to get stuff they missed out on. Might as well now the game most likely will never have "new" content added anymore. It would be the least Rockstar could do for us.
That would certainly explain why we've gotten the exact same pass for the last 4 years.
+1 To wanting the older passes to come back. :(
Sadly though, I don't think Rockstar has any interest in nurturing this game, despite it winning Steam's "Labor of Love" award. . .
lol, of course I could be wrong, but that's certainly what it feels like; it would explain why we've gotten the EXTACT same pass 4 years in a row. o_O
lol, I don't know what the back-end code looks like in Red Dead Online so I can't comment one way or the other. XD
However, I imagine the process to implement different Passes online is more complicated than what the process in the single player Mod's is.
I imagine there's more "considerations" to hook-up everything correctly for Red Dead Online.
Tight-deadlines and competing/shifting-priorities can sometimes interfere with setting-up things properly. @_@
Also, introducing old passes may cause unintended bugs if certain "parameters" aren't set correctly, and the devs responsible for that work may be busy with GTA6. o_o
Again, this is me just guessing. :P
Because if Rockstar can easily bring back older Outlaw/Halloween Passes with zero-risk of introducing bugs. . . WHY ON EARTH AREN'T THEY DOING IT!? O_O
(lol, I'm not yelling at you, I'm just screaming my frustration into the void. XD)
(I wish they'd bring back old passes.)
