Slowing down my pc
Okay so no clue what is causing this but suddenly when im in the game my pc is "lagy" the game works fine and the pc is responsive but if i want to type anything or alt tab its just slow it lags i could write a whole sentence and sit there for 30 seconds while it types it out. Its very weird, ive never seen it happen.

same thing seems to be happening to a lot of people since today's launcher update.

I hope Rstar gets on it to fix it.... it's causing USB issues asides from the annoying lag.

Normaly when you alt and tab out of a game the game drops to 30fps to free up resources, especial in full screen mode. You could try full screen borderless.

Confirmed Temporary Fix:
At the main menu of RDR2:
- Go to 'Settings'
- Go to 'Graphics'
(at the bottom, hold the button for 'Run Benchmark')

After roughly 5 seconds in the winter-scene benchmark test, you can cancel and return to menu. The keyboard input issue should disappear.

You will have to do this each time you start RDR2 until Rockstar fixes this.

This doesn't work for the online-only version it seems, the "Benchmark" option does not show.

yeah no thats not normal if we were talking about a new game that came out yesterday and needed crazy specs sure, but rdo? hell no, also im always using borderless, and the game runs fine no input lag or anything, even the pc runs normally (no high usage or anything) its just that the game causes severe input lag out of the game, and the problem started after a new update to social club everything worked fine before that
