For reference when I'm home alone the connection is almost pristine, no real issues whatsoever besides a slow connection, But when mi madre is at home and watching TV I can get random disconnects from the session and whatnot
So if there's anything major, like a TV. try eliminating that from the equation. Otherwise if it's JUST your pc using the internet. I don't have much to really suggest. Though there's a program (free) that you can try using to see if there's a program using up your bandwidth called GlassWire. https://www.glasswire.com/
Speed test won't show you fluctuations, it will show you the speed at that exact moment.
Yea, idk what the deal with Red Dead is. but I can agree with you that it's only Red Dead that does it. any other game I play will be fine. but the moment I load Red Dead my whole computer just loses internet connection every now and then.
It's probably a modder kicking you. Just sayin'.
Some ISP's will actually drop some connections if the port shows some type of certain stats.
I recommend running ccleaner and be sure clear DNS Cache is selected and try this over again. Good luck.
Ty DevJB I've not tried changing DNS going to change and clear it tomorrow, too exhausted after trying everything. xD
look it up...
