do modders still plague online
title^

This is such a redundant question that I have to ask at least once a year for red dead online and gta online in hopes that I will see a happy "no modders" in these titles, but time and time again I am disappointed. So let me hear the disappointing, "yes modders still run rampant in RDO"

ArchAngelLnK May 26, 2024 @ 1:10am
Yes a lot of them.
Silhouette May 26, 2024 @ 3:51am
Yep. :(

Rockstar/Take-Two are either powerless to do anything about it, or are deliberately choosing to do nothing about it.

*Sigh* I don’t know which is worse of those two scenarios. :/

Anyone else worried about the online mode in GTA6?

I'm sure that rockstar see it easier and cheaper to implement a cheetmenu in the online game so that everyone has the same chance to do it to etch other, that way no one can complain about it that same way.

Rockstar games being powerless against modders no they are not powerless, they just scared of certain people who get angry at rockstar games for going after mods example dark viper a youtuber who loves mods, he uses mods in single player warping and doing things showing locations and such the same mods that cheaters use to go to locations and such, sometimes I think he is a complete hmmm wish I could say it but you can't really say things about people on steam anymore, just want to say he is a fool and that it.

as for online for GTA 6 yes I am worried about the dangers, Crossplay is becoming a serious thing, if playstation and xbox has crossplay with Pc, GTA 6 online would be going down hill fast but if it does have crossplay would rockstar finally inject an anti cheat system a serious anti cheat system, if it doesn't I'm sure people would flock back to GTA 5 or a different game.

Hmmm... I'm pretty certain the company isn't scared of any Youtuber 😊 In the business world, it all comes down to laws, lawsuits, and leverage -- leverage is resources, both attorney and money. No Youtuber/s has/have more leverage than Rockstar/Rockstar + Take-Two Interactive. But you're right about not being powerless.

Implementations for anti-cheat measures need to be forward-focused, so for future titles. Maybe it might trickle back to certain older titles when things are live.

🤣 This seems like a bigger zoo than it is now

Yes, but then they can justify it whit "you don't have to use it but if you want to protect yourself you do it because we wount"

But I assume there is going to be pacifist mode and solo lobby from start so I guess it won't really matter.

That is a good point, and I think that's something a smaller company would do just so people can stop bothering them or to not be liable for the mess as much. It does change the game into something else, when everyone has that kind of abilities.

The feature would have to be available on all platforms, and for this game, only the PC platform has cheat issues on a large scale.

An implementation similar to what certain cheat menus are using to prevent other cheaters from disruptions, but without the super abilities in-game...that's a different story😊
Fisken May 26, 2024 @ 12:27pm
Yes but knowing rockstar it will be more likely it will become an in game microtransction you can buy to protect yourself from other modmenus.
What the heck what did cc do going to make a guess that someone got salty.
Fisken May 27, 2024 @ 1:28am

Lol...you guys figured that out pretty quickly, smart -- but I'm not surprised; most regular users here in my opinion are not fools.

But to answer your question for the ban:

Someone tried to sound smart and made a remark in the $4.99 thread about how I thought Elon Musk was a saint, when there was a giant post I had made above it (before deletion) that Elon and the other Billionaires are far from angels. I made a reply with my quotes to show proof and thought the person must have learned to read from the "Derek Zoolander Center for Kids Who Can't Read Good" and included a video link as satire. The video was pretty funny to me, and I had a hard time making the post, because I was too busy giggling with watery eyes. "They couldn't learn to read, because they can't even FIT into the building." 🤣 I was holding back satire to have more decency; I could have come up with 10 others, if they wanted to be smart.

Apparently, that gave people emotional damage and triggered the Emotional Damage button a.k.a. report. When people seem to talk smart and hot-sauce tough, I expect them to have hot sauce balls...not fragile.

Generally speaking, a quick skim through post history and beyond the superficial, artificial happiness projection shows resentment, hate, anger, jealousy, insecurity, depression. It's the same motivation to use different accounts and give Steam awards to self, in order to appear being supported by others during a logical debate. It's a comical desperation that only fools kids.

I actually feel sorry for the person and not mad at all about the ban. Because it was my action that I chose to take which made it necessary for Steam staff to do their job, so the staff are just doing what they needed to do.

In my opinion, reports from every person should be limited to 3 per month and reserved for meat-head posts that just use pure profanity to insult people -- that type of action is neanderthal. But for satire and sarcasm, there's that saying: If you can't stand the head, get out of the kitchen. This is the main reason a certain, popular future title won't have the same kind of cultural satire as titles before it. Quote me.

For those who are younger, I think it's important and beneficial for you to learn to build thick skin and be real. Social media is sick of sensitive culture -- you can see it everywhere from influential outlets. And the future social media culture that's coming won't have mercy on fake, sensitive souls 😊

Anyway, that's not important. What's import is this: Miu Miu Panties!

No wait...this:

🤣🤣 This had me laughing when I saw it yesterday, because the joke is actually in-line with reality lol... I wanted to make the comment yesterday, but got notification from the mods that I can't until today 😭

The real question is, would you buy such an option 😊
Fisken May 27, 2024 @ 1:33pm
Yes I have lernt to keep an eye on you by now CC.

And no I wouldent by the game even if they gave it too me.... or .. wait...

having the online part sold alone with alow 5 price just makes it worse, it should be part of the full game only always at a 60 dollar price tag,

Hacker: Just going to make account buy red dead 2 online for 5 bucks and tick off those players who are grinding

and fisken you think RD2 online is bad you should check out the MGS 5 forum post it way beyond bad, there is a hack that will knock your everything down to zero gun placements everything.
