Is buying the bow worth it for stealth?

I use it a lot because it's easier compared to the throwing knives, so I'd say yes but I guess it depends on the playstyle.

Yes, better then throw-ables but for me and imo Stealth is not great or I'm just bad at it i can get like 4-7 enemies but then I always get seen or something and then six shooter time, but ya Bow is good.

You'll need to for missions, where you need stealth, and moonshiner missions.

Also get the bow anyways - you get .4 gold for each 100 headshots with reset, after that you choose to use that or throwing items - plus you can use dynamite arrows which are fun.

The bow is NOT silent, but it is quiet... also, when you get to rank 96, you can buy the pamphlet that, after reading allows you to craft dynamite arrows. Quite the opposite to stealth, but much hilarity is to be had.

It's about as quiet as a silencer on a gun - the only thing you'll hear is the arrows passing by you and thats it - the only reason any NPC will be trigger is due to falling bodies in line of sight - or if you miss the headshot.
