Seems like my game is updating, hopefully it's downloading a fix.. check for updates guys.
I've had nothing but issues since i installed this game.. failed to validate 4 files etc, game just shutting down with no errors.. hopefully the fix is comming

Just go to https://support.rockstargames.com/ and try getting to chat with someone about the issue. I am doing the same right now thinking it was just me but it seems it is not just me

I have the exact same issue on two pc's. I've contacted Rockstar support and that didn't help. The only thing to do now is wait until they release another patch to fix this startup issue.
