Can't login the game after update!!

I have no idea what happend. Last night before update everything was fine I was in game. Now I saw the update and can't login i get some error 130. and then i reinstalled rockstar launcher nothing.

In Steam, right click RDO and click Properties. In General tab, in Launch Options field, type in: -steamAppId=1404210

This fixed the game for me! Someone also posted this. I didn't change run as admin settings

I have the same problem. Re-installed steam, Rockstar games launcher and the game (online only version) from scratch. Still got the same error.

I looked at the GTA forums and they are experiencing the same issue. So, probably it is related to game launcher, but I don't know how there are 800+ people(RDO players) using steam are in-game right now..

No idea if this helps, but I have 2 Steam accounts, one has RDR2 and the other is just RDO, only RDO is giving this error whereas I can still play online with the full game.

Not sure that helps at all unless someone might be able to work out what they screwed up from that and a possible workaround.

It could be a Rockstar cunning Baldrick-type plan to try and get people to buy the full game.

Well there was no update, hasn't been one for about two years. Rockstar abandoned this game to work on GTA 6. Boy GTA online lovers are gonna be passed when they shut that down for the new online and won't let you keep or transfer anything.

I have exactly the same thing. There are also two accounts. If you log in RDR2 account, everything is fine, and if you have an account with RDO, it gives you the code 130. I have already reinstalled steam and rockstar and the game, cleaned the registry of all RS files, all unsuccessfully. The problem is that my main character is on an account with RDO and I can't go in to play for him ((( Why are there always some problems with their launcher?

luckily its not a user error. R* just screwed stuff up but hopefully they can fix stuff or rollback

This is the case for anyone who launches the game on Steam
