One day I was just minding my own business riding well outside of any city and my horse just started to fart fireworks out it's back side. Sent me flying in the air couldn't even pick up my hat as it got embedded into the ground I mean it's insane what these idiots do that think it's OK to ruin other players game and for the devs to do nothing about it. Perhaps it a few got hit with class action lawsuits it might wake up the dev community to take hacking seriously across all platforms!
Well…
Is it worth playing on PC right now? Honestly, no.
I wish I had kinder things to say about the PC version, but it’s tragically a complete nightmare right now. It’s just a playground for cheaters.
Is it worth playing on console right now? Yes.
Cheating isn’t a problem in the Xbox and PlayStation versions of the game. The experience on console is SO MUCH better.
Apparently Rockstar is working on an update for the PC version. Will it finally address the rampant cheating? Who knows.
Maybe one day Rockstar will fix the PC version of this game, but currently, you’re really better off playing any other PC online world. Red Dead Online for PC has a ton of potential, but currently it’s being completely ruined by the out of control cheating. :(
