Is there a way to solo lobby without mods?

I've reinstalled the game, and I do not want to solo lobby that way anymore. It worked except, I couldn't play with friends who would not mod, and it cut me off from all free roam events. So i no longer want to do that. Is there another way?

Pretty sure there is the poker glitch but pretty much once someone else joins the lobby, it opens it back up. There is no way, that I am aware of, to get a locked lobby/private lobby, without the mod.

This solo is temporary. It won't affect you joining game modes after using it. Freemode adds ppl to your session after using it after 5/10 mins.
If you're using Windows OS, whilst playing;

>tab out and type 'resmon' into search and open it
>In 'overview', find RDR2.exe. right-click it
>scroll to 'suspend process'. click it
>confirm 'suspend process' from the second box
>wait 10 seconds
>Right-click RDR.exe again
>scroll to 'resume process'. click it
>tab back into game and check the lobby list by pressing L
>????
>Profit!

there is a SUPER easy way to solo lobby without mods. Go into your :C drive > Program Files(86) > Steam > Steamapps > common > RDR2 > x64 after you're there you need to make a new startup.meta folder with notepad. https://pastebin.com/KC7c2czq has the information you need to include in that file. After the final brackets in the information you copied create a new password. make sure you stick the file in the right spot! After that just share your startup.meta folder with friends or anyone you want to be able to play in your free roam session. This helped a TON with my lag.
