So just came back into RDR2 online and noticed the hacker problem is A LOT worse than what it was about 2 years ago. I played for 8 hours last monday and was kicked out of the lobby or sent to an infinite loading screen 17 times (Each time I had to restart).

5 days after that and still running into the problem. Put up with it because my girlfriend is getting it tomorrow and she's brand spanking new so I def don't want that to be her first introduction into the game. I know there's a way to get a "Private public lobby" in GTA but didn't know if you could in RDR2 and looks like there isn't a way in game. However, I ran into a way to make a "private public lobby" in RDR2 that not only I can host with friends, but I can also make a blacklist/whitelist.

I did this a few days ago and it's been working flawlessly :) We shared it for others who want to join a server without "God mod hackers" just killing you or kicking you from the lobby. We had someone yesterday join in and was able to remove him in 5 minutes after he started spawning stuff in. I'm cool with sharing it with others here too but there's def a way to escape from the hackers.

I assume you're using Lobby Manager? I'd be interested in joining! Been strictly solo for the last 50 hours or so, been wanting to step back into online.

I tend to keep to myself but I'm always down to lend a hand, and I'm fine with rival players as long as I'm not getting caged infinitely lol

Yea that's the plan with the server. It's a way to remove hackers but we still allow griefing (Like laso trolling, killing players on site, running people over).

Yep! Lobby manager is what we use. In general it's empty most hours of the day but we usually hop on 1pm PST and stay on for about 6-7 hours. We had a successful server event tonight as well. I'll send you the server info just message me when you're on :)

Dude, use private sessions with a password. Red Dead Online is a cheating turd. It is impossible to play in an open session

Yep! 100% follow this. Our community has moved on to Fallout 76 but that's the method we used to set one up! To get a dedicated server is a little different but there's a guide online for that too.
