How to buy the Outlaw Pass?

Howdy, fellow Cowboys and Cowgirls!
I started to play this awesome game a couple of days ago via Rockstar Launcher. I noticed there is this Husky for the camp. But the game says it isn't available for me, because I don't have the Outlaw Pass.

Is this a kind of Battle Pass? Sounds like. I read something about the pass is not available anymore. So, does that mean I never can get stuff from it like the Husky?

It was a battle pass that was avaiable during seasons.
However, now that the game is dead, so they arent updating the outlaw pass, and since the last one expired, there hasnt been able to pucharse since July of 2021 I think (the last update).
The last one was last Halloween, but this was an unexpected re-release from the last halloweens (2021s) outlaw pass, so if you had already completed it, there was nothing new to do.
Sorry mate, but you are too late for the game.

Sadly, you can’t access the Outlaw Passes anymore.

It appears Rockstar doesn’t like making money on Red Dead Online. With all the new players grabbing the game on sale, I’m sure there’s a strong case for re-releasing them. :/

Unfortunately, unless the passes become available again, or Rockstar adds an update that includes the Outlaw Pass items in the regular shops, you cannot get that husky.

i dont get why they dont just recycle the older ones like they did with the Halloween one.

Does it make sense to you to buy a season pass that is launched AGAIN next season?

i missed them all, except the Halloween one they released again, so i want to buy them with all the gold that keeps collecting dust

I wish the Outlaw Passes we’re available all the time. FOMO is incredibly anti-consumer, and it screws-over all the players who discover the game after the Passes have ended. :/

Not to mention Rockstar’s just sitting on a mountain of items they could be selling. :P

Thank you for the answers so far! Very sad to hear! I mean, sure the game is already 5 years old, but its so much wasted potential for this great game. And in the meanwhile... it's hacker / modder infested. Almost every lobby has one.

However I'm wondering why Rockstar isn't interested in money. EVERY company is focused in earning money and I don't get it why they abandoned their awesome game like that. At least they could unlock the outlaw pass only stuff to make it buyable via ingame currency when they let the game die like that.

The thing is that the game wasnt as famous as they thought it would be. They were specting something near to what happened to GTAV, it was really far from it.

I don’t think Red Dead Online hit the profit goals Rockstar wanted.

The last meaningful update to RDO was in August 2021 when they added the Call To Arms mode. Since then, this game has been largely abandoned.

While I’d desperately love to see the Outlaw Passes get re-released, or those items added to the regular catalogs, I don’t think there’s any developers left working on RDO to make those changes. :(
