"Please update your driver"
So I've been at this for literal hours today, trying to get RDO to launch. When I launch the game from Steam I get this pop-up:
"Please update your driver. Game requires version 27.20.100.8681 or newer. Please visit INTEL: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/ for the latest display driver"
Sounds simple enough, though I was wondering why the game specified the Intel drivers and not the Nvidia drivers. Nevertheless, been on Intel and downloaded all the new drivers. Didn't work. Then I tried downloading Intel's automatic driver updater to see if there's anything I missed, but nope, the program tells me everything is up-to-date. Updated the Nvidia driver as well. RDO still won't launch.
Tried verifying all the game files, restarting my computer x amount of times, killing the Rockstar launcher and starting that process over. Windows is also up-to-date. This is driving me nuts, what is hindering me from playing RDO? No other games give me this amount of trouble. Finally, I tried simply ignoring this message and carrying on, but the game is stuck on an endless loading screen (waited for 20+ minutes, to no avail).
Been looking through this forum, and tried every solution I could find (except for reinstalling Windows, as suggested last year when someone else ran into a similar issue). I'd really appreciate it if anyone has any suggestions, I'm at my wit's end here.
Thanks

I get the same notification every time i load the game, but I'm always able to play normally.
Granted, I have an ASUS and use those drivers, but I doubt that matters. I would delete your drivers, restart computer, then reinstall and see if that helps. Sorry I'm not much help there
