Is it possible to change the leader of a permanent posse?

Does anyone know if it is possible to change the leader of a permanent posse?
Or do we need to quit the actual posse and create a new one?

Posse is bound to each player who starts it up , You need to abandon the posse and the next player posse up each time to change the leader
