Rockstar Launcher Auto SIgn In Doesn't Work

And every time I log in I get an email saying that my account has been logged into from an unknown device even though I've only been using one computer the entire time.

I always have to write out my email and password and do the 2-step authentication to sign in if I turn on the Launcher itself (though it does auto login if I start a game from Steam). However, for some reason this doesn't register as me playing the game because the offline mode doesn't work and tells me that I first need to run the game at least once online, but I've done that many times over. Anyone know what's going on and how to fix it? Much appreciated.

Ancient bug. Been here since the launch of the launcher. They are NOT going to fix it. Support knows about it but management won't fix it as only a few have it. It is too expensive e to fix compared to the number of people who experience the bug.
