Need help understand the 3 day cycles

So I'm trying to get my agarta flower for collector.

GO here for help https://jeanropke.github.io/RDR2CollectorsMap/ and it gives me 3 locations. See that it only spawns after 10 game time. So go to the one marked #0, wait and no flower. So thinking maybe they have 0, 1, and 2 so those are the 3 day cycles. So we are day 2 so I go to flower #1. No flower. So now I've done 2 out of 3 so figure why not just go to the last location...and again no flower. Figure maybe someone picked it so I wait a whole game day until it hits 10 again. No flower. Hopped on Youtube and watched a video... I was at all the right places. Is there a trick? will it not spawn if you're near? Not sure how to get it.

Could be a problem with the collector role, there have been a bug where collectble did not show up and metal dector dint work.

Items, animals , NPC's etc. won't spawn/respawn while one or more players are present at the location
Collectibles are shared for all players (except some bird eggs) so it's not like if someone picked it up you won't be able to do so.
Sometimes it might be just a bug with your current game session , change the session through the online menu (not by joining another person) and try again

it's probably related to what "A" said,
go to another flower location wich is Not agarita,
so go to a flower without a spawn time on it.

if those flowers are Not visible to you,
then follow "A's" method,
or if you don't like clicking links,
Google: RDO metal detector fix (should be a reddit post),

and as reminder: Don't straight up delete files, but Cut and Relocate,
so you can restore things if needed.

but yeah if there are no flowers to be found anywhere,
you probably have a bugged collector role,
it's quite commen,
personally i had to apply this fix 3x already over the course of 3 months.

You are correct. The limited time flowers (10PM to 5AM) will not spawn if you are too close to them. Try approach from somewhere further out such as the nearest town about 10:10PM then head to it. If you (and your horse) are quick enough, you should be able to get the three Agarita or Blood Flower plants before 5AM. If not, you just have to wait until night time again.

There's bug pertaining to collectors right now so that guide above should assist if all else fails.

THANK YOU !!! this thread was far more helpful than any of the 5,687,250 YouTube videos i watched over the weekend.
i swear, most of the YT content creators are just there for the views and trying to sucker you in for the longest amount of time and zero assistance at all.

if you dont have the problem/bug that player A mention....
i usually wait the correct time and then i go, if its not there i just change session.

I know some flowers only appear during the night.

Make sure you’re far away from the spawn-site before it’s nighttime, if you’re too close the flower probably won’t spawn in.

Or, like others have suggested, it could just be a bug. This game has quite a few. o_O
