but short info i can give:
RDR2 = singleplayer + online in 1 package,
RDO = online only,
but if your question is concerning FiveM roleplay servers.
i'm not 100% sure,
but i guess yes,
because both RDR2 and RDO share the same files.
with rdo alone you're just locked out of singleplayer untill that is purchased.
i'm not into roleplaying at all,
but yeah as far as i know:
rdr2 and rdo both have the same files you would have to install.
singleplayer is just locked untill you buy it.
i could be wrong ofcourse.
Unfortunately, so few players use mics that you’ll mostly be talking to yourself. :(
Text chat would improve in-game communication between players, but Rockstar decided not to add it. :/
Is there something ‘roleplay-specific’ you were looking for in the standalone version? I’m not sure I understand your question.
Role playing in an online game with others that are NOT role playing might be weird.
Role playing with a group of RPer's online in a game mixed with non role play AND cheaters might break your immersion if you are hard core role play.
Ain't nobody stopping you from pretending you are actually a cowperson in a old west setting.
I have run into hard core core role play folks while playing other games...like elderscrolls online, old ddo, them kinda games. I bet you can find RP in elite dangerous' space game as well.
Have fun storming the castle...or rather, ranch in this case!
he's talking about the actual player run servers.
like gta5's FiveM,
but for rdr2, RedM apparently.
research redm over at redm places.
100%. They'd make a killing (not that they don't already) off paid servers. Here and on GTA.
What!? Ummm. . . Only big dorks would collect miniatures and ummm roleplay with them. YUP! I'm definitely WAY too cool for that. . . *inconspicuous whistling*
lol, but in all seriousness, I do wish there were more roleplaying online, or just more socializing in general. it's depressing how deafeningly silent RDO is for an online world. :(
I still think adding proximity text chat would go a long way towards getting more players to start conversing. Currently, the wild west seems to be filled with mimes. o_O
Hell yeah we're MEN! I wouldn't be caught dead spending a few hundred dollars on Warhammer 40k minis, paint them in my basement..*cries in dust covered Eldar army
