Actual player count on PC & Console

I always wonder how many player play on PC & Console. Because i play on PC, the player count is pretty low. Sometime there is no player at all, but on the console i can see other player running around.
So i wonder what is the actual player count?


This is just a stupid question only, because i search everywhere and cannot find the information. So thanks

I think it depends how Rockstar has set the player limits per session. On PC i see sometimes less than 10 players and sometimes 24 players in a session. But for sure there are always enough players online so that Rockstar could keep the session full all the time if they wanted. According to Steam statistics there are always about 15-20k players online RDR2+RDO altogether. Might be a stability issue or something like that.. i dont know.
