General Store / Shopkeeper

All the guides tell me I can sell loose junk like canned consumables to the General Store... but the Shopkeeper only has an option to use the catalogue. Anyone else have this issue?

You can't sell them, i tried every store.

What do you mean, "you can't sell to them"? We are supposed to be able to. I'm on the Online mode and I can't sell to the shopkeeper in Armadillo. Anyone knows the reason why?

Red dead online shops to sell:
Doctor (Valentine) [flora]
Gus (Multiple wilderness locations ) [valuables or pelt/hide items for trinkets and crafts and outfits, any pelt/hide/part]
Butcher (Any town except annesburg, van horn) [meats, pelts/hides/parts]
Harriett (multiple roadside locations) [animal samples, legendary samples]
Madam Nazaar (multiple roadside locations) [collectible items found with shovels,metal detectors, intuition]
fence (rhodes, thieves landing) [valuables, teeth, etc]
In story mode you are able to sell to shop keepers such as the doctor and general store. They buy all goods including cans, alcohol, etc.

Fences are also in Van Horn, Emerald Ranch and Saint Denis
