how to tame a wild boar

I have now housed several wild boars in an enclosure,
but I do not understand how to tame them.

I gave them treats and they were petted incredibly often.

but they won't be tame...

It seems to me that every animal will only turn tame when you put their right sign and if you don't have a sign there's nothing you can do. I locked my horses inside and they wanted to run away but the moment i put down the sign they turned tame. I have a lot of deers but they're not tame and will run outside if you open the "gate" and i don't think it's possible to tame them unless the developers make a deer sign. Same with boars. I tried to have them like you but they just run away or respawn to their original place in the wild. I'm still waiting for the developers to make a sign for wild boars.

There is a wild boar sign. Keep playing and completing quests. It was one of the last things i got
