How to scare wolf in dream?

I think I've tried every button, nothing seems to happen. The first wolf just gets stuck on the fence and stays there and nothing i do seems to move it. I can't quit out of the dream either.

Ok I reloaded and this time I could bark at the wolves using left click. So I guess if you also get stuck try a reload...

Mine was bugged apparently but I didn't see anything in the store about there being wolves and any combat whatsoever, so I'm really surprised they threw this in. I lost an animal and just quit the game. I was expecting a peaceful game and this was apparently not it, even though it was described as such

I guess I was lucky since I only lost fences, if I lost animals I'd quit too. I hope they are avoidable once you've done them once.

Well, the publisher said they would look into it but gave me a rolling eye emoji in response, so I'm not too happy at the moment. Can't say I can recommend the game now with that professionalism

How do you get dreams?

I'm on day 6 and haven't had one yet.

I didn't get one until day 5 myself. I think it's just random. I was hoping for happy dreams. If you stay up too late and wander around, you will find red eye wolves that can jump at you (totally made me scream). lol. But it just says you had a bad dream

I didn't get them until I built the scarecrow.

Ah, that makes sense when I got the wolves (that stole my animals) then cause I just built the scarecrow that day. I got the wolf cutscene dream before though when I wandered late at night

if you didn't know once the wolves get your animals then they will be able to escape so you only need to find them again and bring them back to your farm, so its not something scary or anything. TBH I was also super scared and upset when it happened the first time but then grandpa told me I can find them somewhere so that was just a huge relieve.

The wolf is frankly the worst part of the game (right near the cooking mini-game). For one thing the wolves can out run you, the broken "indicator" light as to where they are doesn't work right, and the poorly thought out mechanic of them breaking everything means your animals get loose. I had the wolves steal 3 sheep, but since they broke EIGHT FENCES every one of the 10 or 12 sheep got out, and I wasted most of the next day doing stupid tasks that I shouldn't have to. I have so far avoided having to do it again by re-rolling the roulette, but if another comes up I am putting the game away until it is fixed or removed. Wildy un-cozy.
