Out of Hay

I keep running out of hay and don't know how to grow it. Can you buy it?

You can make it from grass, but to get the drying rack, you need to complete a quest. Dont remember which quest though.

PS The quest is called "Milk" I think.

You can get seed by wacking the colored grasses with your sword. Yellow, Pink, etc. You can then spread that seed and repeat (It will give you grass and the more seed). Use the Drying racks like notprepared said. I'm hoping they have more tools to make this a little less cumbersome. Like a weedeater or somehting haha.

Make a drying rack with the craft table and harvest grass with the sword and then you can put 100 grass onto the drying rack to make 50 hay. I've made 5 drying racks, its much more efficient :D

wait till you get a ton of farm animals. you will spend most of your day just cutting grass to feed them all. really wish I could grow it.

If your animals have access to long grass you don't need to feed them, they'll eat by themselves.
