BUGGED QUEST(S)- Resolved with time (Milk/Eggs per 3 days)

Hi, I seem to be stuck on two quest .

(1) First Eggs
Everything is in place and the chickens were fed, but I got only 1 egg, the other two chickens had egg symbols but refused to lay in the perches.
I ran outta hay stack so i can't feed them again though there weren't any dining symbols
Already Tried: Restarting game, Putting them in the coop, Went to sleep, finding the Rooster, petting the chickens


(2) Milking Willow
Completed the Cow Enclosure with cow sign, Fed Willow with a haystack.
I managed to milk Willow before Grandma trigger the quest, but despite showing her the milk jug, it was not acknowledged that i milked Willow for her quest.

Every morning tried to milk Willow with milk jug, but it said Milk not ready
so i tried at 9AM in case it was a work hour thing, but nope. It's been not ready for a few days already. I even fed Willow a animal treat.

I had no issues with these two quests on my first game character, [only that character got bugged on show dog Willow's bell quest....]

Any way to resolve without replaying?

Pflanze um den Stall und in den Gehegen die Grassamen vom Opa. Oder gebe ihnen immer Strohballen.willow hat alle 3 tage ein krug symbol über dem kopf .Eier und Milch gibt es alle 3 Tage

You just have to wait till they are ready. It should say somewhere how long you need to wait, on the pop up or just when you look at them, I don't remember. It counts down.

I milked Willow before the quest showed up etc . Now that Willow is in her pen etc I am now waiting to milk her again but its been a couple of ingame days now. I can't see how long it is till i can milk her again. Just wondering how do we tell or is my game bugged ?? Thanks in advance :)
Ok i saved and reloaded the game, i also decided to put Willows bell in my hot bar went over to her and i could milk her to complete the quest. SO i don't know what triggered it the reload and or Putting willows bell in the hot bar ??? Hope this helps someone

Hey there,

do you have enough chicken perches built? :) You can always try picking up the chicken and putting it on the perch, it should jump straight on it! Also, you can also keep the chickens well-fed by having grass around them! So make sure to plant some of it nearby the coop!

If you milk the cow too early, as in before the quest, do not worry! The Cow will be ready to be milked after three days! You can go to sleep three times in a row to speed up this process! :)

Okay I was wrong. It says in the book of animals how long they take but you may need to have them a bit for info. I just got the llama and the book shows it but no info yet.

Anyway it says every 3 days for both cows and chickens. But they need to be fed and happy and the pen needs the sign and register the animal(s).

I got confused because some things do say how long left right on them(like beehives).

No need for the bell once she's penned.

I have tried putting the (egg symbol) hens on the perches but they'll land everywhere but on the perches....

All of the perches need to be right by the chicken coop. I had the same problem until I moved the failed perches (used a shovel or ax, I don't remember which) so each perch was alongside the coop. Then the chickens ran and jumped right on them.

Thankyou soo much for this info, <3 Now atm i am trying to find vegetables * i picked them too early *ie before the quest* and now they need watering to grow and i have no idea to do that yet lol. ok found the beehives *thanks to another post* but now trying to work out how to put bees in the hives

I had mine near the coop what I had to do to get all nests used was spread them out. I was going to say so here before but couldn't find the thread.

It's like the game didn't even recognize the perches were there, the ones not being used. I couldn't even destroy them till I destroyed the ones next to the not working ones. Once I spread them out they were fine. When you place them it shows the usable area near the coop so it just needs to be inside that. The glitch seems to be caused by nests being too close to each other.

Be careful rearranging though some of the chickens ran away when I broke the nests and I had to bring them back. I guess they don't stay put if not enough nests.

tossing them wouldn't put them on it till I spread them out.
