Are all areas accessible?

I seem to have completed the game (no quests that I can find), however about half the map is still foggy. Specifically the top right and top left islands, most of the bottom right, and a small section of the bottom left. They are blocked by "mountains" or rivers I can't cross, and there are no bridges that I can find. Are these supposed to be accessible in the game's current state, or are they locked off pending updates or DLCs?

I managed to jump on the rocks with a horse however I only found hilltops with nice viewpoints, so I guess it's not meant to explore

Hello, when I walk along the top right part, I see animals and abandoned houses, but I can't find how to get there. Someone would have any idea ? or is it impossible?

This is supremely disappointing :( I was using the broadness of the map to determine how much of the game I had left, I guess I finished it since I'm out of quests....
