Thank you so much for taking this into consideration! I'm looking forward to the roadmap.
I also like the idea of seasons, but I know it may not fit in well with the feel of the game (Summer vacation spent with grandparents). If you can find a way to make it work, and enough of the community wants it, I'm excited for the prospects!
This is a solid response. Good on you.
That's pretty sneaky, don't you think? This was a buy for me as an early access release with a roadmap, but it's not a buy as a "FINISHED GAME" with a road map. Now it's a hard pass. I hope other people realise what you're doing here. Not cool...
Of course, you don't need to download those DLCs. If you want to play without it, you still will have a lot of fun :)
So for Halloween and Christmas, instead of just doing a seasonal event that other developers do, are you going to make it a DLC?
That kind of ruins the magic of seasonal events, if that is what you are planning to do. It should just be an event that starts when the holiday is around and ends when the holiday is over or whenever.
Also for these dlcs will some be free or only paid dlcs or all free dlcs?
Please don't make seasonal dlcs unless it for the character it self or for the animals but don't get rid of a seasonal event that adds festive stuff to the game for a short while.
I am not opposed to DLC as long as bug fixes/controller support are a higher priority.
I just had this issue with a different game and ended up getting a refund.
Like in Quest 2, there is no specific gender assigned to Oculus avatars. There are some body types that look more feminine or masculine, and there are some facial features and details that can be considered traditional gender indicators, like eyes with heavier lashes, redder lips, and facial hair.
You do not need a female or male character, but even then people would complain, saying there were not enough hair styles or colors, or why can't I customize my character, etc.
But the developers added a universal body type, so it is fine. Just choose the features that look feminine or masculine to you, and there you go—now you're a girl.
Yes, I played the demo and saw the character creation; it is fine. Can developers add more hair styles, etc.? Yes, will they? Who knows?
But there is more than one hair style. I see two.
There will always be a demand for it, as there are female and male gamers in the world. Just add more options to choose from, and the problem will be solved. There are not many male hair styles either, like short, etc.
Body type is fine. You're a kid, your private parts haven't grown in yet, and it's a child game, guys and girls, not an adult game; it's a family-friendly game, and you do not need private parts to show.
Think about your children; they don't want to hear you talking bad stuff in game.
If they did add private parts for a female body, they would have to make sure it is covered, not showing anything, and any clothes you get cover the private area so there is no nudity.
After all, it is a family-friendly game; nudity shouldn't be in it.
Improving the game based on customer demand isn't a bad thing.
