Trouble Finding Hay Rack

Hi! I was hoping y'all might be able to help. I had the quest in the very beginning of making perches for the chickens, which requires hay; I found the pile of hay to use, but I know there's a hay rack that you can put grass on. Do you get the crafting recipe for that hay rack later in the game?

Grandpa should give you the recipe that you can then craft at the workbench. It is usually early in the game, right around the time you are taught to make the hay bales (cubes) which I think comes right after getting the sheep.
